Karen Bubar, Principal KCS

Welcome to the Kennebunkport Consolidated School! If you’re looking for an innovative, community-centered school that works to nurture the whole child and teach lifelong strategies, you have found it. KCS serves students in kindergarten through 5th grade. Our multi-age classes strengthen each child’s social and emotional well-being while building a strong foundation in academics. We have been nationally recognized as a Blue Ribbon School by the US Department of Education. Our beautiful location is steps away from Kennebunkport’s Dock Square and close to the beaches, shopping and so much more in coastal Maine. We are part of Maine Regional School Unit 21, which includes Kennebunkport, Kennebunk, and Arundel. The mission for the district is “Developing Productive Global Citizens by Building Knowledge and Character.” Our school vision is "We love to learn together!" For more information, please email me.

Cozy for Kids blankets - last day of collection
all day

Cozy for Kids is back! Thanks to one of our students, Dom. Here's his message to our KCS school community: "Cozy for Kids, it's that time of year again! If you don't know what Cozy for Kids is. It's a blanket drive for kids at Maine General Hospital to keep them cozy while they are there. If you would be so kind as to donate a blanket to a child out there to put a smile on their face. I appreciate it. A bin will be left across from the office. Blanket drive goes from 11/18-12/9." Thank you for considering giving to this meaningful cause.

Join Principal Bubar and other KCS staff members for an informal opportunity to learn about some important educational topics and share your ideas and/or questions. For this second gathering, we plan to share information about our allied arts programming (art, music, STEM, Spanish, music, and PE).  Also, we'd like to hear about any topics that you'd like to hear more in-depth about at future sessions.
